BUSINESS SKILLS AND IMPROVEMENT EXERCISES


Please read page VI, introduction, of your text-workbook. It will give you a brief overview of what types of activities/skills; you will be doing throughout the course of this simulation. As you will see, this text-workbook is made up of 100 exercises (3 units). Our goal is to complete the entire workbook and quizzes in four weeks. Therefore, you will need to complete at least 8 exercises per day. At the end of each unit, we will correct your work and a unit test will be given. Your grade will be made up of the following:

Homework/Workbook Activities (collected at random)
Unit One Test
Unit Two Test
Unit Three Test
Filing Test
Reference Test
Spelling & Vocabulary Test
Attitude/Work Ethic

This is a work-type situation. You are my employees. Don't let me down. Take initiative. Be on time. Do your best work. Use common sense. Don't misuse the equipment!!! Keep busy at all times, or at least look busy. Do not participate in office gossip. Use good judgment. You should know by now what is acceptable and what is non-acceptable behavior.
